After nearly a year of waiting since I last played the short demo on the floor of E3 for Jade Empire, Bioware's first original game has been released.  I must say that even though I've only played the first chapter (of I believe 8), I am so far thoroughly impressed.  Jade Empire runs on an improved Knights of the Old Republic engine, which is very nice for a few different reasons.  Number 1: the game looks amazing.  You really have to see the game in motion to see just how good it does look.  There's some great lighting effects in…

Top Spin tennis was great.  I need to say that before I move on.  But, we need more tennis games.  Virtua Tennis on the Dreamcast was also good, and Break and I put in a lot of hours in that.  In the current gen, there have only been two good tennis games. If executed with good gameplay, tennis can be an extremely fun sport to play on a console.  Playing Top Spin on X-Box live was great, and I loved beating people, especially since it used real tennis strategy. You have to play Lumines.Nothing can really describe just how awesome, or synaesthetic the game really is.  Tetsuya Mizuguchi really outdid himself again with Lumines.  It attacks the senses and feeds on them as you're playing.  I can't say enough good things about it…it's just amazing.  If you have a PSP, or even if you don't have a PSP, you need to at least try out Lumines, you'd be doing yourself a disservice as a gamer otherwise.I could go into deeper detail on it, but I'd more than likely completely lose everyone as I do it, so I'll save you…
