I'm extremely excited for the new WarioWare game coming out for DS later this week, WarioWare: Touched!  I can't really explain just how much I'm really looking forward to it, given my affection for the first game.  I think the game is perfect for anyone with ADD or ADHD.  This game is lightning quick, and incredibly fun.  The whole concept of playing mini-games that last between 3-7 seconds is just a sheer thrill-ride that keeps you on your toes, and ready for more.  Not to mention that some of the mini-games in the first title on GBA had a ton…

Anyone will tell you that I love Earthbound.  When that came out that was one of the best RPGs I had ever played. We’ve established that Earthbound is awesome.  Now, why hasn’t Nintendo made one recently?   My only guesses are that they hate me/us, or they just have something against making good games now.  I would do anything for a new Earthbound game.  I’d go around and steal street signs for them. If there is a Earthbound game for Revolution I will be so happy, I just won’t know what to do.

Kansas has transformed from a reasonably temperatured environment to a frozen tundra of painful class-treking.  Weezer and I just got done walking out of our politics class, and I had to make sure that all of my body parts were still attached because I could not feel some of them.  Similar to what you do when you have your GBA or laptop, and you make sure all of your attachments, chargers, and headphones are still along for the ride.  I was pretty sure my legs were still there, as I will still moving, but that was my only real sign. …

I've managed to play a good little bit of Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath at this point in time now, and I have to say that I enjoy it quite a bit.  Par for the course, Lorne Lanning and the Oddworld Inhabitants team have crafted some gorgeous pre-rendered FMVs for important story sequences that are just as good as something you might expect from PIXAR or Dreamworks.  They really look that good!  Not only that though, the in-game graphics are pretty good.  The game retains a lot of the Oddworld "feel" and "look" to it in the towns, especially with the huge…

Congratulations, all present and future PSP owners:  You get a free defective square button, courtesy of Sony and their hardware design team.  Apparently, because of space limitations due to the large screen, the square button sensor had to be placed at an angle below the button itself, instead of directly below it.  As a result, the square button is universally less responsive than the other shape buttons.  Oops.What's funny, though, is that Sony isn't apologetic at all.  Their stance on the issue bacisally equates to, "We designed it this way, deal with it."  I don't know about you, but if…

The recent news that EA bought the licensing rights to ESPN didn't reach us before Game Show time; otherwise you'd have heard an earful from us on the issue.  I think it's now more than fair to say that EA is up there with Microsoft in terms of downright shitty business practices.  For a brief moment, I considered the idea that EA might actually try to improve their games using these new rights.  Then I read a quote from EA's chief exec.
