Tuesday is my 2 year anniversary with my wife, so I will not be broadcasting live, via Shotcast RAD-io.

I know you’re all excited for The Game Show next week at 7:00 PM Central, but there’s an additional reason to get excited now.  Stemage from Metroid Metal will be joining us LIVE, so be sure to be there to ask him whatever questions you are wondering, Besides being one of my favorite video game music interpretations, they are also playing at PAX this year.  PAX’s video game concert is always really cool, and they only invite the best video game musicians and nerdcore rappers.

Waiting to hear back from the other cohosts, but we may be broadcasting live tomorrow.

The hell known as moving is almost over so we should be announcing the time of the next show soon.  Did I mention that I HATE moving?  I’ve landed an internship, but should still have time to do the show, just probably on a different day.  A lot of people couldn’t make the Friday one, anyway. See everyone very soon.

So, admittedly, I was in the sky yesterday when Microsoft was doing their media briefing (which they apparently did at USC’s Galen Center,) but I did catch Nintendo’s. We’ll have more talk on the show this week, but I just had to give a holy shit for the new Metroid trailer. 3rd person Metroid has returned! It was definitely the highlight for me. I was kind of left with meh with most everything else, but who knows as more info about the actual gameplay comes out. The press conferences were always my favorite part of E3 and I can’t wait to…

I’ve just spent my first half hour with the new Sonic game, and I have quite a few impressions on the title.  First of all, I feel exactly how I felt after I played the first Sonic for the Genesis.  There’s a marvelous wow factor that permeates you with the gameplay and the sense of speed, but there is also a slight feeling incompleteness.  Sonic for the Genesis is one of the “almost perfect” games, but I still always felt as if it wasn’t quite as complete as the Mario lineage of platformers.  Not because there’s a clear reason for…
