Hate to say it, but it really doesn’t dazzle me. Not to say this won’t still be an excellent game. The brand has a lot of power behind it, and a track record of quality games. Still, I was hoping to something… new. Well, this is just the prelims. Maybe in trailer #2…

Boner Misfire?… GTA V Trailer is Launched

Anyone expecting GTAV to be some kind of ground-breaking amazing new game with super innovative new features is gonna be kidding themselves.
There is only so much they can do with current-gen console hardware, and they’re unfortunately forced to work within those limitations. Mark my words: on next-gen consoles, the next Grand Theft Auto will be a global affair.
Of that I’ve no doubt. I almost wonder if they should have waited for the next gen, so that the game would have seemed like a bigger achievement. Part 4 really seemed to push boundaries when it came out, but 5, at least from this little tiny snippet, hasn’t advanced.
I mean, its probably too early to tell, but, where’s the money shot, ya know?
I think they will take what they learned from GTA4 and RDR (not sure about L.A. Noir) and make the engine more efficient, resulting in a much better experience.
They would have to, considering they seem to imply you can fly planes in this one. I just hope they don’t gimp it. I want to crash jets into people on multiplayer >:D

Heh. Yes, Mecha, Saints Row is a great game series. Laughed my ass off at their E3 demos.
Liked it well enough, I suppose. Didn’t blow me away.
