Former staff Emeritus Yeah, the name’s Richie. No ‘X’ at the end, no Star Wars or anime reference, just a silly teenage nickname used for our first Show. I really didn’t think it would matter what I called myself; I mean, who’s gonna listen to us?

More pics on Break’s moblog. Yep, we made it, and have successfully set up camp at the Best Western in scenic Santa Monica. It’ll be a few days before E3 comes around, but we plan to make the best of the free time. In the mean time, here is our day, in pictures. We start Friday night, at Mr. ManneX’s crib, with Break, Mark (Break’s bro) and I sorting out plans and equipment. The man himself, representin’ the Tool nation. On with the pix…
This is called the “Dream Machine”, a product from Australian Simulation Control Systems, and it’s the worst way you could possibly spend $300.
That was just to scare off all the conservative Christians. That being out of the way, I can bitch and moan about yet another case of teens blaming Grand Theft Auto for their crimes. Just like that case of highway violence in which two kids went driving around blasting passing cars, a gang of 12-14 year olds went around on a graffiti blitz, then blamed it on GTA. Among other things, the gang of five tagged a synagogue, an art museum, and a Christian thrift store. I have no faith in humanity, so it wouldn't surprise me in the least…
Checking in with a couple news bits I thought worthy of your attention.First, Nintendo's announcement of a multimedia adapter for the GBA and DS. The adapter, shaped like a GBA game cart, uses SD memory cards to store video and MP3's, which can be played back over the DS. Clearly, this is a move by Nintendo to make the DS more competitative with the PSP, and I can't see how they could have pulled it off better, other than having those features standard. If any DS owners are saying "Awesome!" right now, cool your jets; there's a catch. It's only available online,…
Yo all, just wanted to share some more pictures I’ve snapped while walking the booths of E3. Everyone, this is Afrotect. Afrotect likes the taste of plastic. Before I got here, I didn’t even know the AIAS existed. Though it sounds great, they chose NFSU over PGR2 as their racing game of the year. They obviously don’t know what they’re talking about. Here’s one with Jack and the Bloodbath babe. What is it about female vampires that make them so hot? The Bloodrayne babe, probably the most impressive one of all. Break stands tall at E3. P//N3D! Break couldn’t resist…
