On the up side, Grinding Gear Games has started giving out beta keys for Path of Exile if you’re registered on their forums.

Sure it’s F2P and may not have the amenities of a $60 title, but it’s definitely worth checking out and may be suitable to bide the time.

It also always requires you to be online, however it’s free, and the beta’s being tested.  So there!
