The original Gears campaign still holds up. It’s a stark contrast to the loud, noisy incoherence of Gears 2.

I never actually played the first gears. It came out before I had a x360 and I never went back to play it before I played 2. I did enjoy the campaign but I had nothing to compare it to really.

I am looking forward to 4 player co-op campaign.

I wasn’t any good at the PvP gears but I did enjoy Horde and that seems to be getting a good upgrade.
