You can come over and beat mine then, because damn do they piss me off. I played that first Advanced AR 1 at least 40 times with no luck.

I do have the grapnel boost, but I haven't really mastered it. I never seem to follow it up with a good glide, so I just get flung up in the air and crash land on whatever happens to be below.

Do you have the souped up grapnel gun? Cause I find that to be essential.

The AR training is incredibly hard, but I'll be honest, I LOVED it. I completed every single AR mission before doing any of the campaign. I had to do some of them a dozen times or more to get them. But I dunno, I just really enjoyed it.

I'm not very deep into the story, so I can't comment on that, though so far the fact that there are so many lead supervillans running around makes the game feel unfocused

I like that they don't make you go and find most of the gadgets from AA again. I don't like that detective mode is more disorienting than the first one, but I can understand why they did that, since I spent about 80% of my time in detective mode in AA.

I am NOT having fun with the overhaul of Bats movement though. I tried for over an hour to complete the first part of the Advanced A.R. 1 side quest, and I just can't f-ing divebomb and then sail perfectly through a teeny tiny tunnel. I can't. It's not going to happen. And the general mechanics of getting around the city is a pain. I seem to glide almost to the ground before I can find anything to grapple onto, and the controls to look up while gliding feel really awkward. It just doesn't feel as intuitive as the first game. They DID nail it with Catwoman, though. Running her around the city feels a lot like Infamous, and is definitely a pleasure.

I think they also give you too much to do too soon. I would have liked a solid chunk of straight story before all the side missions started popping up, and the phones started ringing (I hate those f-ing phones). I'm easily distracted.

Overall I'm enjoying it though, despite my whining. Plus, now I know I can look forward to punching a shark in the face!
