Abby Davis is a recent (and very enthusiastic) addition to The Game Show team, bringing a fresh eye and creative touch to the podcast’s visual side. She’s not a full-time designer by trade, but she’s always been a maker—of mud cakes, projects, and questionable starter homes in Minecraft long before she ever touched Adobe software.
Originally from the tiny town of Winchester, Kansas, her creative path has taken her farther than she ever imagined. Starting by studying Mass Media at Washburn University (with a focus on Advertising and PR, minor in Business), she worked for the WIFI Film Festival as its Public Relations and Digital Marketing Strategist in 2024. She briefly dipped her toes in Web Design at Advisors Excel, and eventually became the lead Graphic Designer for the feature film Eyes Open.
By day, she balances marketing, design, and retail life at Footprints, a local shoe store, and by night, she’s often the first to ask, “Who wants to play a game?” Whether it’s board games, card games, or late-night rounds of Mario Party, Abby’s always been drawn to play—and that sense of curiosity and connection shows up in everything she creates
