The Castlevania display (obviously)
The guys from Bungie (and some of our fans) playing Conkers after hours Thursday night.
Jen Taylor (the voice or Cortana) signing autographs at our FanFest party Thursday night.
Left to right: Mike Evans, Marty O'Donnell, Jason Jones, Joe Staten and Jaime Griesemer answering questions about Halo & Halo2 at the FanFest party.
A shot of the Halo2 Theater taken after hours during our FanFest party in the Microsoft booth.
After a disappointing look at the latest Crash Bandicoot Kart racing game, I decided to turn around and take a shot of the view from their booth instead. You can see the back of the Blizzard booth and a massive Hulk display.
Legacy of Kain had a really cool looking installation, but crappy little monitors.
The youngest Halo fan I've ever seen.
One of the fans who showed up in costume at the FanFest party. (I love the blur on Rodger's face from the double-take he did)
A crappy photo of the Mythica girls. My pick for best-of-show. I went to hide my bag in one of our private rooms in the Microsoft booth and walked into a room filled with Mythica Babes getting ready to hit the show floor. Heaven.
I'm a huge Tim Burton Fan, so I was pissed that someone else was getting to make this game and made a really poor kiosk to show it off. The video teaser was pretty good, but showed no gameplay.
Nokia's booth was HUGE. It looks like they are taking their entrance into the market seriously. They had this great lounge atmosphere with ngage units mounted on flexible pipes so you could stand or sit down on a couch and play them. I searched their booth to find the Sonic title and was really impressed. I tried to talk my way into a free unit but only walked away with a software development kit.
Apart from Microsoft, Nyko was one of the few other places where costumed babes could be found.
Inside the Nintendo Booth. Pokemon characters where dancing around the booth, but every time this guy tried to dance someone had to keep him from falling over backwards.
Sonic. Glorious Sonic.
Stage Debut. A Quirky game cube title that let you import digital photos from a GBA and map them onto a character's face. You then answered some funny questions to set your personality then took your character into a virtual playground. The set-up was really cool, but the playground was dull. I hope they come up with some more ideas to turn this into a cool party game.
The Sudeki display...
And Sudeki babes.
Hip Gear's personal screen controllers for PS2. They also showed Xbox and Cube versions. I didn't get a chance to catch the price.
Blizzard's massive booth had Frozen Throne on the bottom floor, and WOW & Ghost on the upper tiers. One of my picks for best overall booth.
